What copiers and printers do you service?

Because ECS is an independent company, we are able to service all makes and models of copiers, printers, faxes and MFP's. Please call to make sure we can support your product.

Why choose your independent company over one of the local "Big Guys?"

Being an independent company has some advantages over the "Big Guys". Most importantly, an affordable on-site labor rate, as well as a lower repair parts and supplies cost to you.

When you call ECS, you are talking directly to a trained and qualified technician, not someone, or an employee asking to "Direct your call". You are talking to a Tech.  We may be able to talk you though the service call over the phone, saving "Down time" and a "trip fee".  However, we do have an $8.00 service fee for "over the phone repairs"... "Sorry, I can't give it away any more... I have a family to feed and bills to pay too"

Service call response time is same day or within  24 hours.

30 day labor warranty for re-calls.  No charge for "same issue" labor.


Do you sell toners and supplies?

Yes. ECS sells all your toner and supply needs, excluding paper.

HP, Toshiba, Sharp, Canon, Panasonic, etc... All brands of toners, waste tanks, and copier staples too. Call for a quote.


Can you ship toners and products to my business?

Yes, ECS ships with UPS, FedEx and USPS.

Toners, parts or supplies can be directly shipped to you.

However, there is no warranty on parts installed by customer.


What machines do you sell?

We specialize in the Toshiba & CopyStar / Kyocera line of copiers and MFP's. ECS also sells pre-owned commercial grade copiers/MFP's.

Do you provide Service Contracts?

Yes. ECS provides Service Contracts for all equipment. Contract pricing varies, so please contact us for a quote.

What is your service area?

ECS services the greater Portland, Maine area from  N-S: Wells to Lewiston and from  E-W: Portland to Steep Falls. Typically a surrounding 30 mile radius.

What is your service charge fee?

ECS charges a flate rate fee of $85.00 per hour on-site for all service calls. We warranty our Labor for 30 days after the call is complete (same problem) no recall fee.

Do you charge for travel?

Within 15 miles of the greater Portland area, there is no travel charge. Beyond that, the travel charge is .50 cents per mile.

Can you sell me parts without the need of a tech to install them?

Yes. ECS will sell you any part you need for your copier or MFP.

Parts purchased by customer (you), are non returnable or refundable.

If you decide to troubleshoot the machine yourself and purchase parts from ECS, you are responsible for the proper installation and care taken while installing said part(s).

** Installing your own part(s) is not advised. Certain precautions as well as special tools, solvents and lubricants are needed along with the knowledge of the machine “Tech mode” access and programming.

MFP’s are a specialized product of service requiring skilled techs. ECS has those techs.
